Victoria
Lee has been joyfully dancing since the very early age of 3. Victoria has studied all forms of dance with Tap being her “forte”. While working professionally as a dancer, singer, and actress, Victoria also developed a passion for writing. Most recently, Victoria was the Dance Team Manager for the New Jersey Ironmen, formerly of the Major Indoor Soccer League, in their inaugural season at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Through teaching her love of dance and working as a choreographer for nearly two decades, Victoria is always thrilled to see many of her students move on to professional dance careers. She is a graduate of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting and a member of D.E.A., Dance Educators of America and SCBWI, Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators. Victoria spent five years as the Artistic Director for the performing arts studio, Lights, Camera…DANCE! During that time Victoria combined her love of dance with her love of writing. Witnessing young students begin their dance journey and trying on their “Shiny Black Tap Shoes” for the very first time gave Victoria her inspiration for writing Tappi Shuffle. Enjoy!
